What Could Be The Reason For Having Pain And Indentation On One Of My Breasts?

Hello Doctor,
I have a quick questions. My girlfriend has said that she can see an indentation on one of her breasts as well as pain in the same breast. She has been to the doctors and they have referred her to get tested. The doctor said that they arn't saying its cancer, that they don't know what it is. I am just asking for your input on what it could be as I am very worried for her.

Thank you
