What Could Be The Reason For Having A Hard Lump On His Head Caused After Hitting?

My son fell last week trying to chase me. He fell and hit his fire head but IM not sure what exactly he hit it on because he was behind me. It sell up for a little while and went down. There is like a hard bump left where he hit his head. At first I thought it was bone but after further inspection I realized that it moves with his skin when touched and it appears as a slight dent when he makes certain facial expressions. It doesn't seem to bother him at all but it bothers me. I was wondering what it could be if it's just a bruise or something more. He is 1 and a half years old.

Hello,

It is likely to be a organised scalp hematoma. Its common to get such symptom-less hematomas after head injury. It should not be cause of worry and should resolve with time.Regards.
