What Could Be The Reason For Having A Hard Knot Under The Skin On Bikini Line?

I just found a hard knot under skin on bikini line that you can see. You have to push down to feel it and it appeared over night. About the size of a golf ball. Extremely hard and didn't hurt at first but the more I move the movement sends pain into legs

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

I would keep a possibility of an enlarged Lymph node. It could have developed because of some unnoticed injury or boil or inflammatory lesion on the area, which it may be draining.

If i was your treating doctor i would have advised you a week of oral antibiotics for any possible infective origin. If it did'nt respond even then it would be advisable to see an internal medicine specialist for a proper evaluation and management.

take care
regards
