What Could Be The Reason For Having A Growth Under Chin?

My daughter who is 25 has a "knot" or growth under her chin. (The double chin part in us older people) She is worried and is wondering weather or not to have it checked. I don't think it's serious, but I am not sure. She says there is no pain, just a "knowing" it's there. It just happened been there about 48 hours.

Hi,

I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.

Now there has been a sudden development of this swelling.
It is surely a matter of concern. It could be infective in nature or it can be a collection taking place.
I would advise you to see an ent specialist soon or you can see a nearby physician who will be able to guide you regarding further management.

Hope it helps
