Hi,thanks for query.Excessive gas formation can be due to more acid secretion in stomach due to various reasons.Either it could be due to bad food habits, more intake of cold drinks etc.Stress could be another reason.Avoid fermented foods, food with spices, maize products etc.Take regular diet, plan your diet well.If not improved please talk to your doctor about the medicines.bye.

I have been having issues with ibs. I went to a gastroentercologist and she did a sonogram of my liver and kidneys then she did a vaginal examination. The results came back with nothing wrong but, I still have a lot of gas and my stomach is swollen. Do you think if I got a colonoscopy, the issue with my gas would go away? Also, I m 42 years old and I have not had a regular menstral cycle. I am not on any type of birth control, could I be going through menopalse? Thank you for your assistance.
Hi, I am 41 year old. Last several months I noticed that while I am in office & starting late afternoons my stomach starts bloating. Alomost that I add up one size to my stomach. This is combined with gas as well. This continues till late night. But in the mornings, my stomach is abolsutely flat. I have tried different food options but no benefit. I tried eating small small portions & even that does not help. What could be the reason for this bloated feeling & gas. Do I need to take any medicine?
The past few months i have unusual lot of gas, which is often quite embarassing. I also have itching around the anal area and further up, and reddness (sking irritation) down the middle. I have used Betnovade Cream for two weeks, but having stopped it, after a few days I feel the symptoms slowly returning. I cannot understand why this is happening, because i haven t changed anything in terms of food habitts, environment, ... nothing. Would the skin irritation be a result of the gas (and its chemical consistancy) - it lookes like burnet ... because the gas is frequent and is caged in the underware? Could you please suggest something. Should I have a stool sample examined ? thanks a lot Vivienne
