General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The narrated symptoms indicate possible GERD which is a common form of indigestion and bloating in many cases from functional dyspepsia.

In my clinic, I recommend detailed history, physical examination and conservative therapy with proton pump inhibitor, antacid, control of stress and other supportive therapy for a variable period of 2-3 weeks and later if symptoms persist then upper GI endoscopy for further workup.

So do not panic for the cancer of the stomach, go for basic lifestyle modifications, simple medications and do remain in regular follow up with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
