What Could Be The Reason For Experiencing Rectum And Lower Abdominal Pressure?

I am experiencing rectum pressure when sitting and lower abdominal pressure. I had an intestinal flu with diaherra and vomiting for 4 days. I was on the BRAT diet. This is sudden onset in the past couple days. I have had my appendix removed and also diagnosed with IBS year ago. Any idea?

Hello,

I really appreciate your concern, the given symptoms could be due to inflammatory condition of rectum it could be infection too, can wait for some time, if this is due to viral infection then condition may be self-limiting, or it could be nonspecific one if not the inflammatory condition of rectum, if the symptoms persist then you will have to go for clinical examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain
