What Could Be The Reason For Double Vision, Numbness In The Left Along With Non Specific Spots On The Brain?

I was diagnosed with cranial nerve sixth palsy after experiencing double vision in my left eye when I looked to the left. Symptoms also included confusion headaches and numbness in my upper left ear. The mri revealed nonspecific spots on the brain. I'm 37 years old. I'm scheduled to see a neurologist in a few weeks. Finally, I have a history of atypical migraines that mirror a stroke. Any ideas as to what my diagnosis may be?

Hello,

I have studied your case.

Transient ischemic episode can lead to raised intracranial pressure and blurring of vision.
Due to migraine there is predisposition for ischemic episode leading to nerve palsy.

When such patient comes to my hospital we usually do MRI contrast brain if abnormality suspected.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care
