What Could Be The Reason For Cut In Hearing, Dizziness And Labored Breathing? Ear Infection Turned Into Brain Abscess?
Hello, My name is Jesse... I need a few tips and advice.. I have read on a few things that state a ear infection of left untreated can turn into a brain abscess.. I match all the symptoms and the ER doctor prescribed me Antibiotics.. Amoxicillin to be exact... I don't think this is even funny anymore because my hearings cutting in and out.. I'm dizzy.. My throat hurts... My nasal passages hurt... My breathing is laboured... And they seem sold on this idea of just an ear infection.. When it feels like I'm literally going to die... :'/ An answer would be great... Lots of people don't believe me.. I don't want to end up in a coma...

Hi Ear infections can also effect labrinth and cause vertigo and related symptoms like you have.So dont jump into brain abscess. If you dont have any of these you can rule out brain abscess by doing a CT scan of brain. It usually have a triad of symptoms of head ache fever and focal neurological signs. hope this may help you thanks
