What Could Be The Reason For Cronic Cough And Fever 100-102f With Diabetic At The Age Of 45 ?

my mother aged 45 is diabetic n having her fasting blood glucose level is 85 n her post parandiol is also high tht is 132.she is taking insulin but the main problem is her cronic cough with fever 100-102f and no problem found in blood tc dc & esr , chest x-ray , 2 times hospitalized due to cough and given nibulizer and inheler and other medicine like antibiotic but it is back again and again, what would be the problem?

immunological tests for koch's should be done

your blood sugar is under control with the medicines.
You have to improve your immunity level by doing yoga and breathing exercises and by taking anti-oxidants and multi vitamins.
but before doing all this you must consult a chest physician for a complete cure.

In a diabetic, even if controlled, fever with chronic cough requiring hospital admissions has a number of differential diagnoses; asthma & pulmonary TB must Ist be ruled out. Blood eosinophilia for allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis, foreign body, chronic laryngotracheitis are other possibilities. You have to see also HbA1c to see strict glycemia control. I think a Pulmonologist opinion is a must. Good luck.

As all your tests are within normal limits still recurrent cough and pyrexia troubles you it calls for further investigations. The locus of cough in such cases can be abdomen, lungs or throat.Taking it to be PUO with kaphaj imbalance In herbal medicines we recommend sy. crux 2 tsf bd and tab.maha sudershan ghan vati 2 bd. Take hot water avoid cold things and curd. Kanth sudharak vati can be sucked.

Get your mother's HbA1cdone which will give information about her blood glucose contro l in the last 3 mths.Cough can be due to allergy,T.B., pneumonia, bronchitis, Get her check up done by a chest physician.

hello dear,visit to a chest physician will be helpful.Breathing exercises are a must. Allergy looks like the problem.As it is in diabetics to get control over any infection is difficult.If symptoms persist visit a homoeopath.
