What Could Be The Problem Of Hard Small Knot On The Anal Opening?

I just noticed that I have a small BB sized knot on the outside of my anal opening that is hard and seems to roll when I squeeze it between two fingers. Could this be a hemorrhoid? It is painful to the touch and didn t notice it until after a bowel movement when wiping.

As per your complain a small BB sized knot that is painful to touch and present at the anal opening seems to be most probably a prolapsed external haemorrhoid..
Haemorrhoids are swollen and inflamed veins caused due to excess straining during bowels, childbirth,obesity, long sitting hours etc..
I would suggest you to consult a Proctologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Anoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
You can be advised to take stool softeners and high fibre diet to ease in bowel evacuation..
Avoid spicy food..
Apply creams containing steroids and numbing crams like Lignocaine..
You can also be advised surgical procedures like rubber band ligation, freezing or Cryotherapy, Sclerotherapy etc..
