What Could Be The Feeling Of Pinch On Hand Followed By Swelling, Redness And Sore Hole On Hand?

i noticed a pinch on my hand but didn t think much about it. last night i saw it was swollen and their was a little red hole. today its white around the red hole and the swelling has not stopped and around the whole thing its red and sore. the red on my skin is going up to just above my wrist

Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
The symptoms what you are having may be due to injury,infection or any allergy.
As you are having the symptoms of swelling,redness and sore hole are suggestive of inflammation.
Certain organism which are present on the surface of the skin may be reason for the current symptoms.
For my patients with this symptoms I would have advised
1.See for any injury or cuts in the hand
2.Use Ice packs over the swelling
3. Keep the affected hand in a elevated position.
4.You may require Antibiotics
5.Oral analgesics.
Hope this will reduce your symptoms.
