What Could Be The Cause Of Thickened Bladder?

My 79 year old mom has the symptoms of thickened bladder wall as revealed in a ct scan. There is also a blockage at the point of entry of the tube that enters the bladder from the kidney. there is inflamation of the wall. No blood in the urine. What could it be?

She should do cystoscopy to rule out some more serious causes such as tumors. Altough, this is not common scenario but thickening may be sign of it. In most cases this is benign polyps or inflammation but as I sid, cystoscopy is required.
