What Could Be The Cause Of Stomach Pain And Stool Being Dark Green ?
I started having slight stomach pain on Sat. then Monday Night I started having really watery loose diarrhea into tuesday late evening and the pain was coming on and off it seemed like everytime I had to use the bathroom thats when the pain would come. It was at its worst around midnight of tuesday after the elections and it calmed down. My stools started forming back as of Wed. but not completely but I do not have diarrhea and it is a very dark color not tarry black but a very very dark green. I have spoken to a couple of friends and they have had the same thing to last about a week if not more and so has my mom and couple of her friends who lives out of state. Could this be a virus going around. Thank You.

i have gone through the brief explaination of your illness.
according to that I think you are having acute gastroenteritis caused by bacteria through contaminated food or water.as you said you are having right sided pain and fowl smelling stool it can be bacteria called salmonella.
first of all you have to keep yourself adequately hydrated you can use ors/electral powder pack mixEd in one lit ofor clean water and keep drinking it.
you will need some antibiotics ofloxacin and ornidazole available as tab o2 or oflox Oz twice daily after meals,tab pantaprazole and doperidone available as pantop d twice daily before food, and prebiotics capsule gi OK or vibact one a day after food all for 5 days .
