Hi, Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum.
Do you have associated fever or chills? You are suffering from Skin Abscesses. Kindly do not worry as it may not be a Serious condition. The cause could be folliculitis, boils, A bacterial infection. Kindly get yourself examined by a General Surgeon and if possible get a culture or examination of any drainage from the lesion. This may help identify what organism is causing it. This will help your Doctor know which antibiotic to Prescribe which you will have to take for a week to 14 days. Drink Plenty of water. Apply warm compresses which may speed healing and may also help it drain. Do not squeeze them.
For Menstrual abnormality, this happens if you have Hormonal Imbalance or stress. You should be seeing your Gynecologist if you have abnormal vaginal bleeding or Menstrual cramps or if you start missing your Periods.
Wish you Good Health, Take Care.

Mysterious swelling that flares up a few times a year, with lumps or denser areas which has not been satisfactorily diagnosed. Areas affected would be feet, legs, groin area, hands, arms, back of neck. It looks like an infection since it is red, swollen, sore but no opening in the skin. I think it may be an auto- immune problem. I ve had this now since I was 30 yr. old and am now 58 yr. old. I thought perhaps it could be Sarcoidosis, however chest x-rays do not show abnormal lesions which is usually found with this disease. Sarcoidosis is however difficult to diagnose. Doctors do not seem overly concerned, but if it is Sarcoidosis, that is something that I understand from some sources can be treated with steroidal type medicine. Or it could be something like Sarcoidosis. I would like to get rid of it permanently even though it manifests itself occasionally. First time I got it, it came on suddenly and affected from the knees down. Red slash marks about 1.5 to 2 inches long by about .5 inch wide turned bluish like a bruise and was raised, warm to the touch and painful but denser in the centre. It went away on its own but took a few months. My feet were both very swollen. I get it periodically, seemingly when I m physically and mentally stressed. SDteroidal type cream helps the back of the neck heal.
Hello, about 6 weeks ago I had a sudden onset of extreme left side, back, and groin pain. Ever since then, the pain has never gone away, but it has diminished to about a level 3 or 4. Now, my feet are turning blue and I have a pain near where the back of my leg or where my inner leg meets my buttock. I have been checked for a kidney stone, which was negative. I do have some arteriosclerosis of my abdominal aorta. I don t want to be paranoid and run to the e.r., but these latest symptoms, along with my other ones are concerning me.
I recently found 2 pea-sized lumps in my groin, right where I shave my bikini line. I don t know if this is something I should see a dr about, but I had a baby just short of 6 months ago, and I ve had a recurring yeast infection for over a month. So with the hormonal stuff and the yeast infection, I m just not sure.
I had a supracervical hysterectomy Sep 2013 and I still have my ovaries. I have been getting what feels like menstrual cramps that radiate to my back and can be quite severe. This seems to coincide with a cycle since I still have hormones. Can you have pain like that and be normal ? I was wondering if it could be like the phantom pain I ve heard amputees have. Is there anything that can lessen these symptoms?
I'm having a very intense tingling sensation towards the end of urinating, ferquent urination, & mild back/abdominal pain. Sort of feels like menstrual cramps. There was a tinge of blood on the tissue after urinating this morning. I think I'm bleeding from the urinary meatus. What in the world could this be? I've found a lot of online forums but no credible answers...I had an IUD places 10 days ago.
I have had bright blood in my stools before which I assume is hemorrhoids because it usually occurs after several trips to the bathroom pooping water. For the past week or so I am getting more heartburn, my stomach is burning,, I am having pains similar to menstrual cramps and having darker blood in the stool. It is not tarry or black. I seem to b ok in the morning but by afternoon I have blood in the stool. It is definitely different than before. I am having hernia surgery in a few days and am scared
Hi, I started my last period on the 31st of March, a few days earlier than I was supposed to. After my period ended, I took the last of the pills in my packet since I hadn't called in my prescription yet. After I ran out of those, I hadn't taken my pills in about 4 days, and after intercourse I noticed some dark brown discharge, which I figured was just dried blood finally making its way out. However, that was yesterday afternoon, and it has continued to the point where I had to use a tampon, and have been changing it since then. The blood seems to be the consistency of normal menstrual blood, maybe a tad thinner, and there are tiny dark clots dispersed throughout. I have some pain in my lower back, which is a rare symptom for me while I'm on my period, as well as lower abdominal pain (menstrual cramps). Should I be worried? I'm not sure what's going on here. Thanks!
I have pain in my lower abdomen, right side, sharper than menstrual cramps , most acute when I sneeze. Could it be related to appendix or maybe a UTI? I have been in menopause for about ten years. I am generally healthy, but there is a history of...
