What Could Be The Cause Of Intense Pain In The 4th Metacarpus ?
ever so often my 4th metacarpul (the bone between the wrist and the little finger ) hurts......is not an intense pain but i cant put alot of weight on it...i cant think of any injury that may have caused this. can anyone explain?? is it a bruised bone or tendon?
Hello
Welcome to HealthcareMagic. The type of pain you mentioned seems to me like one due to some minor injury, probably with some hairline fracture. There might be an overuse of these joints which is leading to this pain. It could even be compression of nerve or even a reffered pain.So rest of the affected limb is very much required and i would suggest an X ray of the same and please visit an orthopedician.Take care.
