What Could Be The Cause Of Earache, Fever, Headache And Coughing Up Bloody Tissue?

I have been sick for about 3 days now. I have a sore throat and a stuffy nose, but no cough or runny nose. I also have a constant headache that gets worse if i turn my head fast or stand up too quickly. I have an earache in my left ear from it, too. I can hear, but everything just seems to be a little muffled. I have chills and a fever of over 100. I feel weak and tired all of the time, but laying down makes it worse, and I can barely sleep. And, finally, what I m really here about, is what I ve been coughing up. The first time, it was mucus with streaks of blood, but this morning, it was completely blood. It was slimy at first, but once it dried out, it looked (and felt) like tissue or flesh. I ve never had this happen before, but I don t think it s just coincidental. I d hope, that at the very least, the bloody tissue is related to my cold or flu, instead of being caused by something more serious. I d really appreciate the help. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your history these bloody tissues in sputum may be due to sore throat. Let me know whether it's clear red in color or along with sputum or fresh blood. Kindly follow up with a detailed history. Treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition. You may require antibiotics for sore throat along with that continue saline gargles.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
