What could be the cause of dizzy spells ?
I feel, as though I am in a merry go-round. In bed it occurs when I turn over from one side to the other. Specially on the left side and when I try to get up.
Hello There.
Welcome to healthcare magic forum..
Dizzy spells may be due to problems in brain, ear or heart. You need to consult a ENT specialist and get various investigation to rule out problems related to your ear..
You also need check your Blood pressure to rule out orthostatic hypo-tension.
Hope this helps..
Take care..
My 3 yr old child has dizzy spells which have been more frequent lately. She goes into a panic because she is scared. She usually falls asleep shortly after the episodes. What could cause this? The only other thing I have noticed abnormal is a lighter colored stool.
Hi, I have had dizziness, headache, tingling in the fingers, shaking hands and have been collapsing for the past 2 weeks.I have been assuming that it is an inner ear problem. However the symptoms are worse in the morning and by the evening hardly there. The dr prescribed some medication to stop the dizzy spell but it didn t make a difference, however since I went back the Dr has put me on Sibelium 5mg once before bedtime. I felt better and could even leave the house. I took them for 2 nights but then had an allergic reaction to I assume the NSAID that was also prescribed. I stopped both tabs and the symptoms returned. I took the Sibelium again last night but don t feel so good today. Normally I am in very good health, exercise regularly and have a normal bmi. I don t have a history of any long term illness and normally don t take any medication. I wondered what your opinion is and why I seem to get better in the evening? I can t decided whether I should see a neuro or ent specialist?
feeling dizzy spells, mostly in the morning and when i bend over or get up. its been four or five days. Today i feel a little sick in my stomack. Top of my head ifeels hot and i have a headack.Im 67 over 300 lbs.male . I just had a yearly fisical and bloodwork, all was good.
I think I have orthostatic hypotension but I am not sure. When I stand up I get the normal dizziness but my vision also fades to black for a few seconds. Sometimes I get tunnel vision. I am a runner so I thought it could be having a runner s pulse, but no one on my team experiences vision loss or as much dizziness. I am not dehidrated either. Is there anything I can do to stop this? Or do I need to see a doctor?
I have had a problem with my heart beat rate changing from laying down at about 70 to 80 bpm, then sitting 90 to 120 or so, then to standing around 146 to 165 and my monitor says EE for error if higher at times. I have been sick with many other symptoms, blurry vision off and on, no appetite, Major Depressive Disorder, Migraines. While preparing medical records I have for an attorney for social security, I noted one doctor had a CT scan taken in 2005 and it said I have a posterior fossa arachnoid cyst, but he didn t think it was anything important. I did some research and found several articles that lead me to believe this may very well be what is causing my problems.... I had also be reviewing cases of Neural Mediated Hypotension which I seem to have quite a few of the same symptoms as some of the writers. Could this cyst being over the nerve area leaving the brain cause me to have Neural Mediated Hypotension?
I have the feeling of numbness in my head along with a constant headache, nausea and sudden feelings of being on fire. The heat starts from my back to my chest and head. I don t have a fever. When sitting still I get a feeling like I m on a boat. Dizzy spells and shaky hands even though I ve had a meal and I usually need to eat something sweet to stop the dizziness.
My 16 year old daughter fainted yesterday at school about 30 minutes after taking Bayer asprin. Today, before giving blood at her school blood drive, a nurse checked her blood pressure and it was 90/62 (they let her give blood anyway). After giving blood, she felt very weak and could hardly stand up. Could her fainting be from the asprin or could it be a side effect of her low blood pressure?
