hello welcome to healthcare magic. Blood can be seen in vomitus in gastritis ( when the lining of the stomach is inflamed ) which can occur mainly because of infection, medication ( such as aspirin, cataflam or ibruprofen or any of the NSAID family of drugs), alcohol. It can also be seen in cases of gastric or peptic ulcers. Chest pain can occur in cases where the vomiting is persistant or can be related to the force to expel the vomit. If the vomiting is persistant or the blood seen is alot you should seek medical help.
