Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Yellow sticky stools could be due to viral infection. Please give him is oil which is low in lactose along with soy based diet for 2 weeks, he will recover within 1 week. as after viral uri gastric enzymes lactase can be lost and could give raise to such symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prasanna Lakshmi, Pediatrician
