What Could Be The Cause For Eye Floaters?

I have had what feels like post nasal drip and strong metallic taste for at least 3 months now. Doc has had me on a few different antibiotics. I have tried sudafed, Mucinex, nasal rinses to no avail. Two weeks ago there was a sudden and massive onset of floaters in one eye. I ve seen a retina specialist. No retina tear. Now I m wondering if they are connected.

Hello,

I don't think they are connected. floaters usually come as our vitreous gel becomes thin so no need to worry if there isn't a tear.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
