I think you may be suffering from necrotizing gingivitis. It is the main cause of grey and bleeding gums. It is caused by bacteria. It can also give bad smell in mouth.
You can use mouthwash to disinfect gums.
Visit your dentist for treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

hi, i started to to get a feeling of my tongue burning, then a few days later i noticed small red dots on my tongue, 2 days later after that i saw small white dots spread out over my tongue. I visited the doctors today and he looked at my tongue and throat and said it looks normal and he cant see a problem. Now my gums are really starting to hurt and feel uncomfortable. Its the left side up top, its like an aching pain, feels unpleasent! Could u tell me what might be happening?

I am having symptoms of a sore tongue and gums, like the skin in my mouth is tight. It is a dull ache most severe on the sides of my tongue and lower parts of the inside of my gums. My teeth are not sore and I really am healthy with no other symptoms. It is painful to eat, hence the concern. Anything you may be able to deduce from this? Thanks for your help! Gabe

i have had dentures since 2006. hey don t fit well anymore and i need to get them replaced. i use fixodent and installed a soft liner (pro soft) so they aren t sliding around. my problem is i have been noticeing that my gums on the top front (where the teeth came thru the gums) have a whole different texture and turning like a see thru white. like layers. and on the bottom gums i m getting black spots on my gums and like red blisters (no pain) under my tongue.
