Hi,
Some amount of hormonal imbalance is often noticed soon after a delivery as the system tries to recover back to normal from the prolonged progesterone influence. This can cause some breakthrough bleeds. As you had the intercourse soon after the period, you are safe and the spotting is perhaps a breakthrough. You can get proper evaluation by a specialist to help further in clarifying the issue and plan further management. If you are not lactating and if a sonogram is normal, you may do well with hormone supplements for a while. Please maintain a healthy diet and adequate rest. Take care.
