What Could Be Reason Behind Experiencing A Brown Mucus Vaginal Discharge?

I have been experiencing a brown mucus-like vaginal discharge for almost 2 months now. Once or twice a week it will change to a light menstrual discharge. I am married and 0 chance of being pregnant. There is little to no oder to the discharge. I am feeling more and more fatigued as well. In Nov 2013, my endocrinologist discovered thyroid nodules (6 of them) over a cm but all came back benign. I also have a rectal tumor. Could any of these be causing this issue? Thank you, concerned 31 year old mother of 2

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Causes for a brownish discharge are:
-Infections
-Hormonal imbalance
-Miscarriage
-Normal if seen at the beginning or end of a period
and a few others.

But what I am assuming here, is the thyroid abnormality to have affected the hormone levels resulting in this presentation. Do consult your endocrinologist at the earliest, especially if you have not completed your family and wish to do so in the future.
