My son went in the woods about a month ago we thought he got red bugs, causing he kept scratching his privates. He is still doing it and I looked and he has red inflame bumps on his sack like 6 different spots what could this be? It just itches like crazy. Tried alcohol and put him tub with bleach last night.

Hi

Your son seems to have developed scabies.
It typically presents with itchy red raised lesions over the scrotum .
Do not apply alcohol or other irritants over the area.
Your son will need proper treatment with anti scabies agents along with oral medicines .
You should see a nearby dermatologist soon for confirmation of the diagnosis .
Since it is a contagious skin condition, so early diagnosis and treatment is very essential .
