I had gastric bypass 9 years ago and 4 years ago I was at my lowest weight of 135 which I looked sick and wasn t really taken care of myself I gained to approx. 150lb and was satisfied. During this time I developed a hernia and had it repaired 2 years ago and ever since I have gained weight and haven t changed my eating habits at all could the repair have done something to my pouch or what could be causing the weight gain. HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the main concern of yours is the weight gain then it could be genetic one and may not be due to hernia repaired although you have mentioned any detail about the hernia like what type hernia it was, try reduce calorie in your diet or best is consult the best dietician, stay away from the stress (You have even not mentioned the gender for best advise it is necessary ) hope this information helps.
