Hello,

As you had a compound fracture there will be a need to take the utmost care of the injured site. There shouldn't be any infection or else it might lead to delayed bone healing.

Sometimes the bone heals in a non-uniform pattern due to which this kind of skin and muscle abnormal findings are noticed. but as you keep exercising and keep walking, later on, there won't be any kind of abnormal findings.

You can use a hot water bag to take fermentation if the wound is healed. Post which keeps the leg on the pillow in the lying position so the venous return is achieved.

Thereby no excessive fluid accumulation will be there and what you find it a sore will be the metabolic waste which will be drained out by the above-mentioned procedure.

Rest assured. kindly do some gentle massage over the wound so that the wound doesn't become stiff and the skin stays flexible to achieve maximum good results.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
