What Could 60 % Of The Cervix Being White In Colposcopy Indicate?

Im 19 and just had a colposcopy done due to an abnormal pap. When she was doing it, it looked like a good 60% of my cervix was white after she applied the acid. I know the white means abnormal cells...she scheduled.me for two weeks later to discuss the results. She also took 3 biopsy samples. Is this normal?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
In colposcopy, acetic acid is applied on the cervix and viewed.
White areas represent abnormal area and biopsy is taken from this area.
An abnormal Pap test and white colored area on cervix suggests that there is some abnormality i cervix.
Wait for the biopsy result.
In case any abnormality is detected, appropriate management will be planned.

Thanks and take care
