What Causes Yellow Vaginal Discharge With Blood Traces In It?

I had a yellow discharge last week with streaks of blood on it then nothing until today when I discovered specs of blood on yellow stained pants not sure if discharge or urine because I do sometimes to leak a little. Period is not due until next Thursday and when I do drink water I keep running to the toilet. I am feeling really worried because I have had different symptons for a year which include burning in arms and especially in right leg leg and now my right toe is in agony and other toes and fingers I have pain in them too. I have had bloods done in December and all normal. Doc says I am stressed. Last week I went to docs with itchy foot and was told I have a fungal infection, the patch does not seen to be clearing still using Daktacort. I have numerous health problems over the last two
years feeling sick with acid and heartburn and discovered tiny polyps on stomach lining with small hiatus hernia. I
found that by changing foods I did not feel as sick, but every so often I would get a vibration in my ear and my throat would swell up. I am completely at a loss. Please help.

Hi,

You seem to have a lot of issues. It happens sometimes when we are stressed and concerned because of one health problem and this in turn leads to other problems.
Let us deal with the main question first:
the yellow discharge and blood streaks: The common causes for this is infection and erosion of the cervix or vagina. Other causes are small non cancerous tumors like polyps and rarely this is caused by cervical cancer. The best way to know the cause is getting a gynecologist examine the vagina and cervix to look for the cause. Treatment for infections is usually with antibiotic gels or vaginal tablets. Other conditions will need surgery.

Now about the other symptoms like fungal infections, excess urination: see if you had your blood sugar checked. If they are normal, controlled intake of water, exercise and personal hygiene help. The gastric symptoms do decrease by changing food habits as you have already experienced.

Please do not get stressed. The best plan is to deal with one thing at a time and get over it. I also suggest that you see a behavioral therapist to help you out of this acute stressful situation. Please feel free to ask any more queries and I am there to help you.

Hope this helped. Thanks for using HCM.
