General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Increased vaginal secretions are normal with pregnancy. On the other hand, because you have lost the mucus plug and are dilated 2 cm, it is best to see your doctor because you are at increased risk of infection and quick treatment or labor induction might be needed in this case.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
