Hello and welcome to HCM..
Thank you for posting your query..
I read I read your question completely and have understood it well..
I being a surgeon, we have seen many such cases..
And I am here telling with 100% certainty that you are fine. Do not worry.
These are the most common reasons for yellow urine...
1. Most common is less fluid intake.
This you might have experienced already..
2. Some drugs cause yellow urine, most common one is vitamin tablets, containing vitamin B supplements..
3.
Jaundice..
But we can rule out Jaundice, with other symptoms not present like
1. Yellowish discoloration or eyes, nails
2. Clay colored stools..
But you say that you consume 4 litre of water now.
That means you should not have yellow urine.
I suggest you following things..
1. Most of the times, it will be self resolving. Wait, if you don't have any other symptoms.
2. You can get these tests done.
A. Urine routine and microscopy
B.
Liver function tests.
We can see what exactly it is due to.
If both reports are normal, then no need to worry and please continue to drink lots of water.
Hope this helps.
Take care and God bless..
