What Causes Wrist And Elbow Swelling With Pain?

If I miss my vein 2 days ago with meth amphetamines and the redness and swelling and pain has moved away from my wrist all the way to above my elbow is there something I can do to make it better or is it dangerous in something and should seek medical attention ?
