What Causes Whooshing In Ears?

Had a cold last week. Now I have a really sore throat, when I blow my nose there is blood and my ears are both full so I can't hear properly. There's a loud whooshing in my left ear and I can hear my pulse. Could I have an infection? Why do I have whooshing in my ears?

Hi, you seem to be suffering from acute rhinopharyngitis with ear symptoms can be because of blockage of Eustachian tube because of forceful blowing. Please use nasal decongestant drops along with mucolytics and steam inhalation for few days. In case the symptoms persist, please consult an ENT. Regards
