What Causes White Spots On Tonsil And Fever?

i have little white spots on my left tonsil. I have also been running a fever off and on for the past 6 days and i also have body aches. I went to my GP yesterday and he said it was viral, he did no tests impart from looking into my throat and checking my temperature

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The white spots on the tonsil can be because of the bacterial/viral infection of tonsillolith. The Fever, body pain can be because of viral infection. Nothing to be panic, take symptomatic treatment like analgesics like diclofenac for body pain and paracetamol for fever(if you are not allergic). The viral infection will be self limiting, it will subside in 7days. If it is not subsiding, then consult the physician immediately. Do saline gargling.
