What Causes White Spots On Back Of Throat?

I have a question, last night while brushing my teeth i discovered white like..bubbles or spots on the back sides of my throat. it didnt hurt last night but now the left side is becomming sore. What is this? My mom wants to say strep throat, but it doesn t feel like that.

Hello,

The white dots can be suggestive of a form of tonsillitis.

For that, you need to be given amoxicillin plus clavulanic acid tablet.

Salt water gargle with warm water can be done for tonsillitis.

Avoid excess fatty foods intake for a few days.

If no improvement than throat swab taken and send it for culture.
