Hello- I have had numerous episodes of strep throat before since I was a child. Recently I had some puss on the left side of my throat- I did not worry much since I ha A&P finals and maybe it is onset by stress. That was a week ago and even though body aches was present- fever was not. Yesterday I noticed the right side of my throat had a huge white spot- I had the chills but again no low temp (98.4). Body aches and headache and neck pain were present. When I woke up this morning to check my throat- it had a black I can t say a spot but like a line with a whole somewhat on the same tonsil. I still never ran a temp- is there something with how my body is reacting to this known bacteria? I have been taking - vitamin C &E - Emergen-C drink - calcium with magnesium and zinc - turmeric capsule - B complex capsules - Vitamin D 5000 But I have not taken any meds- just vitamins . Could this explain the no fever? I am somewhat hoping to spike a temp to know that homeostasis is working- but not sure if the feedback loop is working at all?
