Hi I ve gone through your query and I undrestand quite well your concern I m deeply sorry to communicate you that unfortunately this symptom tells that this is a breast cancer recurrence. This means that your cancer has come back to the other breast. Recurrent breast cancer occurs when cells that were part of your original breast cancer break away from the original tumor ,in another part of your body ,or can reoccur in the other breast. Later, these cells begin growing again.The chemotherapy, radiation or hormone therapy you may have received after your first breast cancer diagnosis was intended to kill any cancer cells that may have remained after surgery. In your case , it seems that these treatments were not able to kill all of the cancer cells. Based on the discharge of the nipple ,although you you ve undergone mastectomy of one breast, the cancer has reoccured in the tissue that lines the other breast.
