What causes white patches on nails of a kid ?
Hi, on the nails of my 16 month old daughter we see white patches. Are these white patches due to any deficancy? If yes what care needs to be taken such that they do not occur again.

white patch in nail indicate deficiency of iron ,zinc ,calcium .
it is very common in child as they need more minerals and vitamin in their growth period
it is not a serious condition ,so dont worry about it
give him healthy diet like milk ,green veg ,fruits etc .
