i have a single white dot on the back of my throat on the left side.
i went to my family doctor who told me to gargle with salt water for two weeks and if it didnt go away see an ent. i paniced so she set up a ent visit tomorrow at nine am. i have post nasal drip and lichin planus

Seems more of an infection of the throat due to post nasal drip.. The drip cause inflammation of the throat which we call pharyngitis and lymph nodes in pharynx may develop pus.. No big issue.. Would go away with antibiotics easily.. But u need to get ur sinuses checked.. So go ahead with the ent check up!
