Hi..
Can understand your concern...

As per your complain it seems that you have infection in the gums and inflammation which is the cause for bleeding and when the infection is not treated it keeps progressing leading to pus formation and the white discharge from the site of bleeding is pus which is due to aggravation of infection..

In case if is from a single spot it can be due to some injury of food impaction in that area leading to infection and pus discharge leading to gum boil formation..

I would suggest you to consult a dentist and get evaluated..

Professional cleaning of teeth known as Scaling followed by antibiotic course for 5 to 7 days containing amoxicillin and metronidazole and topical application of gum paint and antimicrobial ointments can be relieving..
Gargle with concentrated solution of mouthwashes..
Warm saline gargles can help..
Take Vitamin C lozenges one daily for 15 days..

Hope this information helps..

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern.

As per your query you have symptoms of bleeding and white discharge from gums which is a symptom of gingivitis progressing towards periodontists which occurs due to poor oral hygiene. Bleeding from gums occurs once bacteria and debris accumulation deposits there and leads to inflammation of gums. If it keeps on going it leads to formation of hard substance which is whitish in nature known as calculus which keeps on accumulating and leads to jaw bone loss.

I would suggest you to maintain proper oral hygiene by brushing and flossing two times a day.

Use antimicrobial mouth wash to prevent spread of infection and prevent bacterial accumulation.

Avoid smoking, alcohol as it will exaggerate condition.

Do betadine gargles daily.

Visit periodontist once and get it examined properly.

Go for scaling and root planning as it will remove debris from that area and prevents its build up.

Go for curettage if necessary and recommended by dentist.

Rinse listerine mouth wash daily after that.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
