What Causes White Discharge And Gauze After Postpartum?
So I am 9 weeks postpartum and have been bleeding on and off every few days. Bleed after sex every time. Yesterday I pulled a small piece of what looked like guaze out of my vagina and have also had little hard white chunks (looks like sea salt) come out as well. I went to my obgyn today and she completely ignored this and told me I may have retained placenta and she said she would call me to schedule ultrasound. What about the stuff I ve pulled out of me??? Maybe she doesnt want to admit she left guaze inside of me?Sorry for the graphic details.

there is a possibility that she may have forgotten a guaze piece if after having washed it , you find that it is actually a guaze piece post delivery. The white stuff is secondary infection in form of fungus. Get an ultrasound anyways to rule out retained products as possible cause of continued bleeding if guaze is not the apparent cause.
