General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Wheezing is due to narrowing and obstruction of airways due to inflammatory responses of the Bronchial tree.

Fever is due to the release of prostaglandins, due to inflammation and infection caused by the bacteria.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. TALARI PAUL,
