What Causes Weird Sensation In Left Lower Abdomen Area?

I have been feeling like something is moving in my lower left abdomen all day today. Just started his morning and have felt it at least 30 times today. It feels like something is pushing in the area and then it just goes away. Not pregnant due to just having my period a week ago. What could cause this feeling?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The abnormal sensation of movement may be due to peristalsis of the gut or may be due to abnormal nerve function in the skin (neuropathy).

Peristalsis is contraction of the intestines. Sometimes the sensation may be more pronounced.

Using a muscle relaxant may help eg soma, flexeril, robaxin

I hope this helps
