What Causes Weight Gain And Body Weakness?

For the last 3 months, I have gained 40 pounds, my muscles all over my body feel weak and like jello. I have a hard time going to the restroom, I do have a lot of pain in my right kidney. Also since Ive had this massive weight gain, when I wake up, whatever part of my body that is laying on my bed is on fire. I have got to where I am either sleeping nonstop or I cant sleep for hours. I have no motivation to do anything and for me that is very unusual.

Hello,

Unexplained weight gain may be because of hormonal imbalance. Most common hormonal imbalance is decreasing in thyroid hormone levels. And this leads to weight gain, loss of concentration ability, insomnia and others. Please go for complete thyroid profile and with that reports consult endocrinologist or general physician for more information and management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
