What Causes Weight Gain And Bloating After Quitting Smoking?

I gave up smoking 10 months ago and went onto e liquid vaping. I have always had a flat stomach and since all this I have gained over a stone in weight and constantly bloated with a tight pregnant looking stomach. I am 44 yrs old amd domt know if it's the givin up smokin, the e liquid or menopause may of suddenly hhappened on givin up smokin? Constantly tired also and tearful one min, happy the next. All put of my character but bloated stomach bothers me most. Thanku u

If you are perimenopausal or menopausal then it would contribute to your fatigue and mood swings.

Smoking cessation can contribute to weight gain because smoking can suppress the appetite but if you alter your diet and activity level then no further weight gain will occur and you may be able to lose any weight gained.
