What Causes Weight Gain After Right Frontal Lobectomy?

i was thin my entire life until i had a right frontal lobectomy. now, dispite the fact that i'm very active and eat very little, i continue to gain weight. i woke up from the come (4 years ago) about 50 pounds heavier than when the accident happened. is there any hope for weight loss?

Considerable hope. It's from having zero activity during the coma. Merely walking around is a huge increase in activity and metabolism. ALso have metabolic hormones checked since brain injury often affects the hormones secreted at the base of the brain.
