What Causes Weakness,lightheadedness And Pins And Needles Sensation In Chest And Neck?
Hi,I am 9 weeks pregnant and had about 10 vials of blood taken yesterday. I feel very weak and I get a pins and needles like sensation when taking a deep breath or moving too suddenly. I get this feeling in my chest and neck. I have been really lightheaded also. Is this to be expected after having so much blood drawn on an empty stomach?

After taking 10 vial of blood in empty stomach you are getting many symptoms.
Blood collection is required to perform many blood test during pregnancy to rule out any condition which can interfere with growth of fetus.
you are getting weakness, light headedness and altered sensation may be due to low hemoglobin level.
so do not worry about it. take regular diet and you get out of it.
