General & Family Physician 's  Response
welcome to hcm,
fainting after a traumatic injury has to be examined
1. there may not be any visible bleeding in the head but there may be internal injuries in the head
2. it may be also due to the stess and low blood sugar

as you are in the hospital they might have already taken investigations
the investigations must include
1.blood sugar, urea,creatinine
2. urine routine
3.serum electrolytes
4.CT-Brain
after the results from the blood tests and ct brain the cause of fainting can be found
it may be because of internal bleeding sub dural or extradural hemorrage.
treatment will start depending upon the cause and severity of the disease.
hope this explains
feel free to have followup of her condition for better clarification
with regards
Dr.Amarnath
