What Causes Wbc Cells In The Urine?

My 5 year old daughter was put on Cefprozil because our doctor saw white blood cells in her urine sample. The very next day I provided him with another urine sample which he had tested for culture and it came back negative. He told me to continue with the antibiotic. She is on day 2 already and has another 8 days to go an is feeling fine. Should I stop using the antibiotic?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
He had wbc in urine but his culture is negative. He should complete course of antibiotics. Then he should go for repeat urine examination. Don't worry. Just be relaxed. Just complete course of cefprozil according to your doctor's advice.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have any doubts then contact me at bit.ly/Drsanghvihardik, I will be happy to answer you.
