General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You were having a history of hematospermia. The blood in semen could be due to seminal vesicle infection most commonly. The second common cause is a prostate infection.

So I suggest you investigate with semen culture and transrectal ultrasonography for primary work up.

You can revert back with reports.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
